INTERIOR DESIGN OF A HOTEL LOBBY

Designing within the constraints of a given theme and area.

The theme is oriental. The setting is predominantly dark with oriental lamps and glowing onyx ceilings making their impact sufficiently. The prominent colours include black, wooden brown, green and bright red. The setting also sees a wide usage of soft landscape, serene water bodies and bronze statues. Massive red columns with floral patterned bases are complimented by the floral fabrics chosen for the seating and drapery. Besides the seating areas, the Bar and the Reception act as important elements in the design.
